We started to support dozens of children with Thalassemia six years ago with providing medication that they need in order to relatively manage to run a normal life. Thalassimia is a genetic blood disorder that need blood transfusion regularly, which causes overdose of iron accumulation. We provide the medication to stop the iron accumulation in the body of the child. Currently the number of children reaches over 800. The children are from very disadvantaged background and we give some financial assistance to their families. It is an ongoing project and we are hoping to raise funds and provide them more support that they need.
