Our work in Afghanistan
The current crisis in Afghanistan which has displaced millions of people and left them without shelter and food. The healthcare system is collapsing and people are unable to access any healthcare. We have developed a programme to respond to the current crisis by distributing emergency food packages to the needy families and we run free medical camps for displaced people and in remote provinces of Afghanistan. We started our first project in September 2021 in Ghor province and since then every month we have implemented this programme in different part of Afghanistan. We have covered Panjshir and Kandahar provinces. The projects were very well received by the beneficiaries.
We implemented three medical camps: the patients being assessed, diagnosed and provided with medication. (if in need of further medical intervention the patients were referred to hospitals)
We distributed 210 food packages to 210 needy families. The food packages contained flour, rice, oil, beans, tea, sugar. One month supply for a families of 5 members
