On 30th November 2025, the Association of Afghan Healthcare Professionals UK (AAHP-UK) will be hosting a special charity fundraising evening in collaboration with the Preston Muslim Community, dedicated to supporting children and families living with thalassaemia in Afghanistan.
Held in Preston at the Imperial Banqueting Hall, the evening will begin at 6:00 PM and will include a three-course meal, inspiring speeches, and meaningful opportunities for guests to support this vital cause. All funds raised will contribute directly to equipping and standardising the Thalassaemia Centre in Kabul, as well as providing life-saving medications and nutritional support to prevent dangerous complications.
